This is a quiet campground with fantastic owners and hosts. We made reservations on-line back in January and arrived late Monday after the July 4th week-end. The campground did not have our reservation and was completely booked. Owners were very apologetic and accommodating. Put us up in the grass overnight and moved us to a site in the back the next day as well as compensating us with a credit for the inconvenience. Campground is somewhat secluded off the main road with large sites, right next to Custer State Park and convenient to all the attractions. It does not have many amenities for children which makes it nice for those who just want a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. Wi-Fi and TV reception at the site were not good but we were able to go to the clubhouse and log on there. Rest rooms and laundry facility were spotless. Owner checks and cleans all vacant sites daily. Plenty of wildlife in the area. Saw deer in the campground several times. We checked out the other campgrounds in the area and felt this was by far the best. I would highly recommend it and am looking forward to returning.
Nice campground with plenty room between sites. We prefer the outside loop. Swimming pool, tennis, basketball and playground on site. Need to book in advance as campground fills up fast. AAA discount.
We camp here several times a year since it's convenient for week-end camp trips. This is a very nice park and campground. Sites vary in size, some are tight and others have a lot of room around them. It is always packed and hard to get a good site at the last minute. They have many activities planned for kids on the week-ends.
